Idea Farm is the brainchild of Michael Nathan Casias. Michael is a well-known developer/city-shaper in the city of Austin and the unofficial mayor of the east 11th St. corridor. Part of his “mayoral” duties are to bring the community together. One of those efforts is Idea Farm. The concept was to create a collaborative space where people in similar industries could work independently or together in the open-layout space of 1111 east 11th. This is the identity for the co-working space.
